~Featuring the multi-talented Ms Anita Dime~
About the Artist:
Anita Dime is an author, self-publishing noir and science fiction short stories via Flatcar6 Studios in sunny
Her first short story was released in 2012: Horse Two, a story about a guy’s luck on and off the race track, which was soon followed by Olympia, a story about Bea and her tough choices in a time when things “just aren’t ok.” – both set in the mid-1930s.
Recent works include the release of a short story collection called Five Mibs and a Martini, which includes five Anita Dime short stories and suggested cocktail pairings from Ali B. Also, her short story Bloom is featured in the anthology Dieselpunk ePulp Showcase v2 by John Picha. Both stories are available for Kindle at Amazon.com.
Wanting to add illustrations, she began carving and printing linocut artwork to accompany the stories. Anita Dime linocut prints are currently on display at the Santa Cruz Mountain Arts Center's Yesterday art show, and she has been
invited to be a guest of the Charles Shulz Museum (https://schulzmuseum.org/) in September.
